Surviving the Apocalypse with D&B Supply

D&B Supply store interior

Over the past 60 years, a lot has changed in the west. And one of our clients, D&B Supply, should know. Established in 1959, D&B Supply is celebrating their 60th anniversary this year. What started as a tire shop for farmers in Caldwell, Idaho has grown to 15 locations in southwest Idaho and eastern Oregon that offer just about everything you could ever imagine needing on any given day. In fact, there’s a saying at D&B Supply that, as I understand it, originally came from overhearing a couple customers talking …READ MORE

Super Bowl LIII Commercial Round-Up – One Random Guy’s Take

Being in the ad business, there’s one question I can count on fielding each February from friends and family. “So what did you think of the Super Bowl ads this year?”   As the presumed “expert” on the subject, I dutifully deliver my reply that is, in reality, just one random guy’s take. So in that spirit, below I offer my assessment of this year’s spots. I’ll remind the reader, these are the opinions of the writer alone (Demographic: Male, 35-44) and do not represent the values and opinions of …READ MORE

Corwin Ford Gives Back, and Gives Big

As an account manager, I love celebrating a client’s success on a professional level. But it’s celebrating a client’s generosity enabled by that success that really makes my job personally rewarding. Since CLM began working with Corwin Ford, we’ve all been impressed by Tanner Corwin of Corwin Ford’s personal dedication to his community. In 2017, that dedication continued with significant philanthropic donations to community organizations, totaling more than $215,000. Top donations included $50,000 to the Idaho Food Bank, $25,000 to Advocates Against Family Violence, $20,000 to the Boys and Girls …READ MORE

New Fair Site: A Fun-Filled Time Online

The Western Idaho Fair just got an online makeover. As we know after 13+ years with this fun-filled client, it’s not easy to fit all the farm animals, amusement park rides, concession food, blue-ribbon contenders, concerts, grounds act, and fairgoers into one spot. You could say it’s a bit of a juggling act. But designer/programmer Jess Ward and copywriter Jessica Holmes were up to the challenge. Hey, at least it’s easier than winning some fair carnival games! We started with the navigation, an often-overlooked step in the web design process, …READ MORE

Taking Off: Jackson Jet Center Adds to Services

A few weeks back, I was lucky enough to join a few hundred honored guests to christen a new addition to Jackson Jet Center’s charter fleet—and to celebrate their exciting new expanded service offerings for private plane owners and operators in the Northwest region. First, the hardware. The latest addition to Jackson Jet Center’s fleet of planes is the high-performance, long range Cessna Citation Sovereign. It’s a beauty inside and out, with fully adjustable leather seats, capacity for 8 passengers, and a coast-to-coast range of 3,200 nautical miles. It offers …READ MORE

But for Tanner Corwin, doing the right thing is a fundamental part of running a business. Because when the Treasure Valley community thrives, so does Corwin Ford. As the account manager for Corwin Ford, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Tanner to grow his business and his profile in the Treasure Valley.
