A Win For CLM, A Win For the Client.
One of the often-overlooked reasons to enter work into ad competitions is to give your clients a little more bang for their buck (i.e. if you win an award, they win some time in the limelight). Each year, we accompany our friends at Western Idaho Fair, a long-time client, down to Vegas for the annual convention for the International Association of Fairs & Expositions (IAFE). We rub shoulders with other fair folks and get a chance to see what other cutting-edge work is being done to promote fairs and festivals all over the world. As part of the competition portion of the convention, we also entered several elements executed for this year’s Western Idaho Fair. And it turns out we placed in each of the categories we entered (see below for details). Everyone at the Western Idaho Fair was happy to win a few awards and we were happy to give a long-time client some much-deserved recognition. It was a success all around.

- 1st Place (tie) – Single Outdoor Billboard
- 1st Place – Outdoor Billboard Series
- 1st Place – Broadcast Television Ads
- 2nd Place – Best Advertising Campaign
- 3rd Place – Multi-page Publication
- 3rd Place – Overall Social Media Campaign
