CLM Summer Roundup, Part II

July was a blur this year, particularly with the 4th falling on a Wednesday. Most of us here at CLM stuck around the Boise area for the holiday (though we did send a delegate to McCall and another to Coeur d’Alene). We finally got some warmer weather and we also got the chance to work on a few community-based projects.

In late July, we collaborated on a unique benefit for the Treasure Valley YMCA. Boise-based film producer Frank Marshall (whose credits include The Sixth Sense, Jurassic Park, and E.T. among many others) returned to the City of Trees to promote an advance screening of The Bourne Legacy, the latest installment in the action series following Jason Bourne. CLM helped with a few print collateral pieces and the proceeds from the “Bourne to Camp” event went to helping complete construction of the Y-Camp at Horsethief Reservoir. It was a big night, a big success and we’re always happy to partner up with an organization like the Y.
