Putting the Fun in Funnel Cake

When you’re running around like a headless chicken, it’s easy to lose sight of the larger picture. We’ve been lucky to call Western Idaho Fair a client for over a decade now and no two years have ever been the same. So, come August, we’re crazy busy with all things Fair-related. Whether it’s coordinating media sponsors for on-site radio remotes, proofreading last-minute changes to visitors guides, monitoring social media channels for questions and concerns, or making sure a facepainter knows exactly where he’s supposed to be, you name it and we’ve surely done it. And in the midst of all that hubbub, sometimes it’s easy to forget how amazing it is to work on such a exceptionally fun event with such expceptionally fun (and smart) people. (Whenever I introduce myself at industry events, the response is, nine times out of ten, something akin to, “Oh, you guys work with the Western Idaho Fair. I bet that’s fun.”)

It’s fun, it’s exhausting and we wouldn’t change it for anything. This year’s Fair was a resounding success and while we can’t report numbers quite yet, we can say it exceeded expectations by a longshot.

So while we conduct our post campaign analyses, you’ll have to forgive our sunburned mugs and Cheshire cat grins; we’re proud of ourselves.
