YouthROC, (the Youth Resources and Opportunities Collaborative) is comprised of several Southwest Idaho community organizations that have come together to connect youth to community resources for free. These resources can help address a variety of challenges our youth may be facing, such as food scarcity or other serious life issues such as a mental health crisis, physical safety, or trauma. CLM was tasked with creating a brand for the program that resonated with youth audiences as well as adults that have the youth’s best interest in mind. Our work included creating a brand and an initial set of materials to get the word out to these audiences during an introduction period, after which the team at Southwest District Health would take over and follow on an ongoing basis as additional funding became available. We started with a brand positioning line and then developed an entire brand look/feel along with key communication materials, including Spanish versions of all materials, along with a communications plan to help Southwest District Health kick the program off and build awareness in the Southwest Idaho market.
